I was going to wait until I got back before editing any of my photos, but I had some free time today when, despite a promising 80-degree morning, the sun decided to bake the city once again.
That’s my favorite so far, and I think the reason is obvious. Prettier pictures below:

Lazy afternoon
Wow. Busy day today! I got moving at 9:00 this morning, despite a severe crick in my neck and ominous clouds on the horizon. I loaded up the kayak and put in at Katie’s Landing on the Wekiva River. I went upstream for about an hour, taking my time and taking pictures. That’s right, folks. I finally brought the camera long. This is the first time since I bought my own kayak that the camera has made the journey with me.
As if my 2.5-3 mile trip up the Wekiva wasn’t enough, I just got back from the YMCA where my workout total equaled 25,930 lbs! I’m tired!

I shot with Jenny this morning, and we had lots of fun. She climbed one of the parking garages downtown and practically hung by her toes. More pictures in Jenny’s gallery.

Shooting with Erica and Carrie yesterday, we were constantly making horribly inappropriate jokes. Since we were walking downtown with two women at my beck and call, we kept making cracks about me being a pimp. Later, as we were walking out of the Maitland Art Center, a lady walking past with her dog stopped short. She explained that her dog isn’t dangerous, but she still has to be careful. Carrie was wearing nice stockings, and the lady explained:
“She’s a little too friendly. I wouldn’t want her to jump all over your pretty hose.”
As we walked back to the car, I couldn’t help asking, “Was she talking to you or me? Don’t want no bitch jumpin’ all over my hoes.”
I tell you, life is just more interesting when you live in the gutter.
